As of today, Wednesday, January 15, 2025, a new, modern way of paying contributions for self-employed insured persons, including farmers, is activated through the IRIS system, as announced by the e-EFKA administration.
The new service allows insured persons to pay their contributions easily and immediately via e-banking or mobile banking, offering significant benefits:
According to the relevant announcement, "The The e-EFKA administration, in collaboration with the Agency's executives and with the full support of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, continues consistently with the work of digital transformation. Its goal remains to provide a more efficient, friendly and affordable service for citizens, while at the same time achieving a reduction in administrative costs. "
This initiative comes as a continuation of the particularly positive response that previous payment options, such as the IRIS system and the online DIAS, had for employers and debtors. By extending the use of IRIS to non-employee insured persons, e-EFKA takes another step towards improving the citizens' experience and simplifying payment procedures.
