More detailed subsidy criteria for 2025:
OPEKA's Child Benefit (A21) is undergoing significant changes in income and asset criteria.

Income Criteria:

Increase in benefit amounts:
The allowance for the first income scale increases from €70 to €75 per month for the first child. For the second and third scales, the amount is consolidated and is set at €45 per child, while for the third and each subsequent child, the amount increases to €90 per child.

Deduction of income from hired work
: A percentage of 20% of income from hired work will not be counted towards the income limits, strengthening the incentive to work.

Property Criteria:

Real estate:
Limits are established on the value of real estate, increasing according to the number of children. For example, the value may be increased by €15,000 for each child.

Movable property:
Limits are introduced for the objective expenditure of movable assets, such as cars and motorcycles. The limit may reach €20,000, depending on the size of the family.

Deposits: Limits are established for bank deposits, with the limit possibly reaching €25,000, depending on the number of children.

These changes aim to ensure a fairer distribution of benefits, taking into account both the income and financial situation of the beneficiaries.
