Youth Pass: When are applications due?

Young people who turn 18 or 19 in 2024 (from January 1 to December 31) are entitled to financial assistance of 150 euros.
The application platform opened on Tuesday, April 1 and will remain available until Wednesday, May 15.
This is the Youth Pass program, a voucher that offers beneficiaries the opportunity to make purchases both in physical stores and in electronic (e-shop), for cultural, transportation and tourism products or services.
The assistance is paid via a digital debit card, which is sent to the respective credit institutions by the end of May.
The application for the Youth Pass is submitted once and cannot be repeated. after turning 19. If someone does not submit their application at 18, they can do so when they turn 19. In this case, however, they will only receive the amount for the 19th year – it is not given retroactively for both years.
What can the Youth Pass be used for?
The amount of 150 euros can be used for:

Culture: tickets for cinema, theatre, museums.

Transportation: trips by train, bus or boat.

Tourism: hotel accommodation or purchase of travel packages.
